About Maria A
Maria A Giammona earned her B.A. in political science from Seton Hall University in 1995 and continued at Seton Hall University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1998. She pursued her legal education in New Jersey and returned to the state to build her career. Her academic record is rooted in the same university where she later began practicing law.
After law school, Giammona entered private practice and held a series of associate positions at New Jersey firms. In 2002 she joined Donahue, Hagan, Klein & Newsome as an associate. The following year she moved to Anthony Fiorello, LLC, where she continued in an associate role. She later spent time at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, LLC beginning in 2015, serving as both an associate and of counsel. Those roles exposed her to the day-to-day demands of litigation and client representation in county and state courts.
In 2018 she established Maria A. Giammona Law, LLC and took on the responsibilities of firm ownership. Running her own firm expanded her duties beyond case work to include managing operations and overseeing client intake. Colleagues from prior firms and bar association contacts remained part of her professional network as she made the transition to solo practice.
Giammona maintains active membership in regional professional organizations. She belongs to the Passaic County Bar Association and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar.
