About Marcy

Marcy Fassio earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2005. She completed her legal education at a time when courtroom experience and a steady hand mattered. The law school years set the stage for a career that moved quickly from public service to private practice.

She began her legal career in 2005 as an Assistant District Lawyer at the Oklahoma County District Lawyer's Office. That early post placed her inside the local criminal justice system during the formative years of her practice. She handled courtroom responsibilities and the pressures that come with public prosecution work.

A decade later she left the public sector and launched her own practice. In 2015 she founded Fassio Law, PLLC. The new firm carried a clear name: Fassio Law Criminal Defense and DUI Lawyers. The move to private practice marked a change in role but not in intensity. She shifted from representing the state to representing individuals facing criminal charges.

Her professional memberships reflect that trajectory. She has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 2005. She joined the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association in 2015 and remains active in that group. Those affiliations mirror the switch from prosecutor to defense attorney and link her to peers across the state.

Her background gives her a dual perspective on criminal cases. Years in a district lawyer's office exposed her to the strategy of prosecution. Years running a small firm refined her approach to defense work. She applies both perspectives in client matters, particularly in cases involving DUI and other criminal charges.

Fassio's practice has focused on courtroom work and client representation in criminal matters. She manages the daily operations of her firm while taking on cases that require hearings, negotiations and trials. Her office identifies as a criminal defense and DUI practice and that specialization guides caseload and staffing decisions.

Colleagues describe her as someone who understands the mechanics of the local courts and the practical demands of litigating criminal cases. She remains licensed in Oklahoma and maintains memberships that keep her connected to changing rules and case law. She currently practices criminal defense and DUI law in Oklahoma.
