About Marcus
Marcus Nahon has practiced law in Tennessee for decades. He earned his B.A. from the University of Memphis in 1970 and completed his J.D. at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1974. Those credentials mark the start of a long legal career rooted in Memphis and its federal courts.
Early in his career Nahon gained admission to the Tennessee bar and later secured privileges in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has worked both at the trial level and in appellate settings. Over the years he has moved between courtroom advocacy and advising roles, a pattern that set the stage for his current position.
Today he serves as Of Counsel at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers. In that role he works on personal injury matters, offering experience on case strategy and courtroom presentation. His docket has included matters that required coordination across state and federal procedures. He consults on litigation, prepares pleadings, and appears in court when cases progress to trial or appeal.
Nahon has been active in several professional organizations. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Association for Justice and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. He also belongs to the Memphis Bar Association. Those memberships reflect long-standing ties to the trial bar and to the local legal community. He has remained engaged in those groups while practicing at the firm.
Colleagues describe his courtroom approach as straightforward. He tends to favor clear argument and careful preparation. He pairs experience in civil litigation with familiarity in federal practice, which can be useful in cases that involve multiple procedural tracks. He also brings institutional knowledge of Tennessee courts to client matters.
Outside of litigation he has advised younger lawyers at the firm and participated in case assessments that shape litigation decisions. He balances an active caseload with consulting duties that draw on years of trial work. That mix keeps him involved in both day-to-day case handling and higher-level courtroom planning.
He currently practices personal injury law at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers.
