About Marco S

Marco S Collemi entered the legal profession shortly after earning his law degree in 2021. He completed his J.D. at Roger Williams University School of Law and built practical experience while still in school. The timing of his graduation set the course for a career shaped by courtroom work and public service.

His early legal work included a clerkship at Fusco & Macaluso, Lawyers at Law, where he handled research and assisted on client matters. He also served as a legal extern at CVS Health, gaining exposure to in-house legal operations and corporate compliance issues. Those placements gave him a mix of private-practice and corporate perspectives in the first years of his career.

Collemi then moved into the judiciary. As a judicial law clerk in the Criminal Division of the New Jersey Superior Court, Essex Vicinage, he supported judges on a range of criminal matters. His duties involved legal research, preparing memoranda, and drafting proposed opinions that informed judicial decision-making in pretrial and trial settings. The clerkship offered a close view of trial mechanics and courtroom procedure.

He followed his clerkship with a position in public prosecution. As an Assistant Prosecutor at the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, Collemi handled various stages of criminal cases. He worked on investigations, wrote charging documents, and participated in hearings and trials. That role required frequent courtroom appearances and coordination with law enforcement, victim-witness units, and other agencies.

Those experiences gave him substantial exposure to criminal law from multiple angles: defense, prosecution, and the bench. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and has continued to build on the litigation skills developed in county and superior courts. Collemi’s path reflects steady movement through distinct institutional roles that intersect around criminal justice.

He now practices at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. At the firm he applies the courtroom experience he gained in Essex County and at the Superior Court to client representation. His current practice includes handling criminal matters in New Jersey courts.
