Marco Roberto Balducci is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006. His license is currently inactive. Mr. Balducci is a founding partner at Pelton + Balducci, LLC, a law firm specializing in immigration law, located at 1100 Poydras Street, Suite 2725, New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients in both California and Louisiana.

Mr. Balducci earned his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 1999. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, graduating in 2006. During his time at Georgetown, he spent a year abroad in Senegal, which influenced his perspective on vulnerability and resilience. In law school, he interned with the public defender’s office in Kotzebue, Alaska, an Inupiaq village north of the Arctic Circle, strengthening his commitment to public service.

Mr. Balducci concentrates his practice in immigration law, representing clients in matters involving asylum claims, employment-based visas, and citizenship. He has guided clients through complex issues such as political persecution and long-delayed residency. His practice encompasses all stages of immigration proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Balducci has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. In Louisiana, he has represented clients in various immigration matters, including deportation defense and family-based immigration cases.

Mr. Balducci is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He served as AILA’s liaison to the New Orleans Field Office of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) from 2008 to 2010. He is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
