About Marc E.
Marc E. Weiner studied political systems and public affairs before he turned to the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University and then went on to receive his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. Those classroom years provided a foundation in both the theory and practice of legal advocacy.
After law school, he began practicing in Florida. He is admitted to the Florida bar and has worked as an attorney at Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman, P.A. during his career. His work in that firm places him in the midst of complex casework and the routine demands of trial preparation. He has navigated court calendars, discovery schedules and client intake matters common to civil litigation in the state.
Weiner’s background in political science often shapes how he frames issues for clients and for courts. He approaches factual development and legal research with attention to how statutes and procedures operate in practice. In litigation settings he prepares pleadings, handles motions and participates in hearings that require clear presentation of facts and law.
Colleagues and clients expect thorough preparation. He spends time assembling records, analyzing testimony and coordinating with experts when cases require specialized input. He also works on settlement strategies and negotiations when resolution outside the courtroom is appropriate. Those tasks occupy much of his daily practice alongside motion practice and trial planning.
Outside of working files, he maintains professional contacts across Florida’s legal community. His career has included routine interaction with court clerks, opposing counsel and other participants in the litigation process. That network supports the procedural and logistical aspects of cases that can be as important as substantive arguments.
He is based at Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman, P.A., where he represents clients in matters brought in Florida courts. He continues to practice law in Florida and to serve clients through litigation and case management at his firm.
