About Manny

Manny Haddad studied a trio of subjects at the University of Michigan—psychology, political science and criminal justice—before moving on to Wayne State University Law School, where he earned his J.D. in 2009. Those undergraduate courses gave him an early grounding in behavior, institutions and the rules that govern them. Law school followed and, after graduation, he took the steps that placed him squarely in courtroom practice.

He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender at the Dallas County Public Defender's Office in 2011. In that role he worked on criminal matters on behalf of clients who relied on public representation. The job exposed him to courtroom procedure, client advocacy under pressure and the realities of case loads in a busy public office. It was an early test of trial skills and case management.

In 2013 he opened Haddad Law Office and runs the firm as owner and lawyer. He moved from the public defender setting into private practice and built a caseload that includes criminal defense and trial work. The firm handles matters that require courtroom appearances and an understanding of both procedural deadlines and the tactical choices a case can demand. He represents clients charged in state court and takes cases through pretrial stages and trials when necessary.

Haddad maintains memberships in several professional groups. He is active in the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. These affiliations connect him to peers who practice in trial and criminal defense arenas. They also provide access to continuing legal education and local developments in court practice.

Colleagues and clients describe him as practical and direct. He tends to emphasize clear communication about options and likely outcomes. In client meetings he focuses on explaining procedural steps plainly and on setting realistic expectations for court schedules and possible resolutions. His time as a public defender continues to inform how he prepares for trial and how he allocates time between court appearances and client consultations.

He practices law in Texas and leads Haddad Law Office. He currently represents clients in criminal defense and trial matters out of his private practice.
