His legal practice encompasses many areas, including criminal law, DUI & DWI, business law, appeals & appellate, domestic violence, government & administrative law, health care law, and white-collar crime. Since establishing his firm, Mr. Dabiri is known for providing comprehensive legal representation tailored to the needs of his clients. Admitted to the State Bar of California on December 12, 2005, Mr. Dabiri's license remains active. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2005, where he developed a strong foundation in legal principles.
Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1999. This educational background gave him critical analytical skills essential for navigating complex legal issues. Before founding Think Defense, Mr. Dabiri served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in both Los Angeles and Orange County. During his tenure, he investigated and prosecuted numerous federal criminal cases, gaining inexperience in the courtroom. His role as a federal prosecutor allowed him to hone his litigation skills and understand the details of federal law. Additionally, he worked as an associate at O'Melveny & Myers, a prominent international law firm, where he handled complex civil and business disputes, further broadening his expertise in various legal matters.
Mr. Dabiri also clerked for the Honorable Manuel L — Real of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. This clerkship provided him with firsthand insight into judicial decision-making processes, enhancing his ability to craft effective legal strategies. His diverse experiences have shaped his approach to criminal defense — This lets the attorney advocate for his clients in both state and federal courts. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Dabiri is actively involved in professional organizations. He serves as an at-large member of the board of directors of the Iranian-American Bar Association and is the immediate past president of its Orange County chapter.
His commitment to the legal community extends beyond his practice, as he seeks to mentor young attorneys and promote legal education. Mr. Dabiri is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as all courts in California.
