Mandy Powers-Norrell is a attorney based in Lancaster, South Carolina, with over 25 years of experience in personal injury law. Mandy's community involvement extends beyond her legislative duties — She has been the city attorney for Lancaster and the town attorney for Kershaw.

She has also served as Vice-Chair of Palmetto Citizens Against Sexual Assault since 2008 and was a member of the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Board of Directors from 2003 to 2012. Throughout her career, Mandy has received numerous accolades, including the Green Tie Award from Conservation Voters of South Carolina in 2019, recognizing her commitment to environmental conservation. She was also named Woman of the Year by Emerge SC and received the Legislator of the Year award from the South Carolina Association of Social Workers. Mandy is married to Mitchell A. Norrell, her law partner, and they have two children: Powers Thaddeus, a junior at Duke University, and Emma Ross Isabella, a high school senior at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts.
