About Mady
Mady Munoz built a deliberate path from psychology to business and then to law. She combined undergraduate study in psychology with graduate work in business before earning her law degree. The sequence shaped a practice that moves between analysis, strategy and legal advocacy.
Her academic record includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras (1999). She earned a J.D. from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2006) and later completed an MBA in Marketing at the University of Phoenix (2007). Those credentials gave her a mix of clinical insight and commercial training unusual among her peers.
After law school Munoz began practicing in Puerto Rico. She has applied both legal training and business thinking to client matters. Over time she has worked on transactional documents, client counseling and courtroom appearances, adapting her approach to the constraints and opportunities of local law.
In 2018 she joined Villalobos & Moore as an associate lawyer. At the firm she handles a range of assignments for corporate and individual clients. Her responsibilities have included drafting pleadings and contracts, preparing submissions for administrative and judicial proceedings, and representing clients in hearings. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and straightforward in advocacy.
Munoz maintains current professional memberships and participates in the networks that keep attorneys informed about changes in Puerto Rican law. She has continued formal study after law school through professional programs and firm-led training. That ongoing engagement helps her manage matters that touch on both legal and commercial questions.
Her practice is centered in Puerto Rico where she serves clients from local businesses and private individuals. She combines legal analysis with practical steps intended to resolve disputes and advance transactions. At Villalobos & Moore she takes on matters governed by Puerto Rican law and assists clients through litigation, administrative proceedings and contractual work.
She is based at the firm’s Puerto Rico office and continues to work on cases and transactions that raise issues under Puerto Rican statutes and regulations. Her current practice concentrates on client matters governed by Puerto Rican law.
