About M. Ammar
M. Ammar Shamaileh took a direct route into law, completing a Bachelor of Science at Loyola University Chicago in 2002 and earning his J.D. from Rutgers University–Camden in 2004. The sequence is simple and exact: undergraduate study in Chicago, then law school in New Jersey. Those credentials set the groundwork for a steady legal career that has spanned courtroom work, client counseling and transactional matters.
After law school he moved into practice and built experience across a range of matters that lawyers commonly encounter. Over time he has balanced appearances that require courtroom preparation with behind-the-scenes work such as drafting documents and advising clients. His early years in practice provided a base of practical skills; later years have been about managing those skills within a small office environment.
He works from The Shamaileh Law Office. The firm’s structure allows him to take direct responsibility for client work and to manage case strategy from start to finish. That setup also means he frequently handles intake, legal research, drafting and negotiation himself rather than delegating every task. Clients who value continuity see the same attorney from initial consultation through resolution.
Colleagues and clients have described his approach as straightforward and procedural. He prepares for hearings and negotiations with the same attention he gives to client meetings. That approach produces clear files, accessible explanations and a pace of work that keeps matters moving. He also places emphasis on documentation—pleadings, correspondence and agreements are produced with an eye toward clarity and use in later stages of a matter.
Outside of the office he keeps engaged with legal developments that affect everyday practice. He follows case law and rule changes that shape how routine tasks are carried out, and adjusts office procedures when necessary. That practical attention to the evolving rules supports client advocacy and helps avoid procedural pitfalls.
Today he continues to serve clients from The Shamaileh Law Office. His current practice focuses on providing legal services and representation to individuals and entities through that office.
