Lyzette SanGermain is a seasoned mediator and arbitrator based in Winter Park, Florida. With over 30 years of legal experience, she has dedicated more than 20 years specifically to the field of mediation. In 2017, Ms. SanGermain established Orlando Mediation Law, where she provides services in civil, family, dependency, and appellate mediation. She represented both plaintiffs and defendants in various state and federal courts. Her litigation experience spans multiple areas, including insurance coverage, personal injury, product liability, complex torts, civil rights, employment law, professional negligence, and construction law. This extensive background in litigation gave her a knowledge of the legal field, which she now applies in her mediation practice. Ms. SanGermain earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1985. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at Florida State University in 1980. Her educational background laid the foundation for her legal career and has been instrumental in her success as a mediator. She is certified as a Circuit-Civil, Family, and Dependency Court Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida, showcasing her expertise in these areas.

Additionally, she is a certified mediator for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, adding to her credentials. In addition to her mediation practice, Ms. SanGermain has contributed to the legal community as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida College of Law. There, she teaches in the Institute for Dispute Resolution, sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals. Furthermore, she has served as a panel mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and has participated in the U.S. Postal Service REDRESS program, demonstrating her commitment to resolving disputes effectively. SanGermain is a member of the Florida Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, where she has been inducted since 2005. Additionally, she is involved with the Central Florida Chapter of the Family Law American Inns of Court.
