About Lynnea

Lynnea Taylor combines a scientific undergraduate background with nearly two decades of legal work rooted in Massachusetts courts. She earned a J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2004 after completing a B.A. in mathematics and chemistry at Quinnipiac College in 1994. The academic path is an uncommon one for a lawyer and it surfaces often in the kinds of matters she takes on.

Her undergraduate studies in mathematics and chemistry have shaped how she approaches evidence and argument. Taylor's training in precise reasoning and technical subjects complements legal research and brief writing. At New England Law she refined those skills, moving from classroom analysis to practical tasks such as legal drafting and appellate writing during the early years of her career.

Taylor’s early professional steps included an internship in 2006 at the Massachusetts Lawyer General and two consecutive clerkships. In 2006 she served at the Massachusetts Appeals Court and in 2007 at the Massachusetts Land Court. Those clerkships exposed her to appellate procedure and complex property and land-use disputes. In 2008 she joined Blatman, Bobrowski & Mead, LLC as a lawyer, where she handled litigation that drew on both her courtroom experience and her analytical background.

Her record shows steady movement through roles that emphasize appellate work and court procedure. The combination of land court exposure and an appeals court clerkship lends itself to representation in appellate matters and property disputes. Taylor is admitted in Massachusetts and to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Throughout her career she has maintained ties to professional organizations; she has held membership in the Women’s Bar Association since 2013.

Today Taylor practices in Massachusetts and brings together litigation experience, appellate familiarity and an ability to address technically detailed issues. Her work tends to involve appeals, land-use and civil litigation matters, and she appears in state courts as well as before the First Circuit. Her practice centers on appellate work, land-use disputes and civil litigation matters.
