About Lynn

Lynn Taylor earned her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in 2005, where she studied political science and psychology. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo in 2009, completing coursework in labor and employment law. Those academic choices set the tone for a career spent largely inside the workplace legal landscape.

Taylor is admitted to practice in both Ohio and Illinois. Her early years after law school included work on a range of employment matters in private practice. Over time she handled both counseling assignments and courtroom work, developing practical familiarity with the kinds of disputes that routinely arise between employers and employees. She has practiced in the state courts and in matters that touch on federal employment statutes.

Her practice centers on labor and employment issues. She represents clients on matters such as workplace discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour disputes, and termination-related litigation. She also advises on employment policies and day-to-day compliance questions. Taylor’s approach tends to combine technical knowledge of employment statutes with attention to how workplace problems look on the ground. That mix informs how she prepares cases and counsels clients about risk and resolution.

Taylor is an attorney with the Law Offices of Cozzi & Zapf. At the firm she continues to handle litigation and advisory matters for employers and employees across her licensed jurisdictions. Her work includes pre-trial litigation tasks, drafting employment policies, and participating in dispute resolution. She maintains active practice in Ohio and Illinois and remains focused on labor and employment law at her current firm.
