About Lynette
Lynette Silon-Laguna trained in Central Florida and stayed to build a practice. She earned a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1992 and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1995. Those years set the framework for a career spent in state and federal courts across the region.
Her first post-law school position came at Lawyer s Title Company in 1996, where she worked as a lawyer. A year later she moved into private practice management. Since 1997 she has served as owner and managing lawyer of All Family Law Group, P.A. That role has kept her engaged in courtroom work, client counseling and the operational side of running a small firm.
Silon-Laguna is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her registration with the Florida Bar dates to 1995. Over the years she has maintained memberships in several local and national professional organizations. She has been an officer in the Pinellas County Trial Lawyers Association since 1997 and belongs to the Clearwater Bar Association, Hillsborough Bar Association and the Florida State Bar Association. Her involvement extends into specialty groups, including the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers, both of which list her as a member since 2009 and 2015 respectively. She is also affiliated with the American Institute of Family Law Lawyers.
Those associations reflect areas of practice she has handled in her office. Family law forms the backbone of her caseload. Bankruptcy and consumer creditor issues appear regularly alongside divorce, custody and related family matters. Her firm handles litigation as well as negotiated agreements. Cases can range from contested hearings to settlements reached through mediation or otherwise outside the courtroom.
People who work across family and bankruptcy dockets often need to manage procedural deadlines and coordinate filings in multiple forums. Silon-Laguna’s daily work involves that coordination. She moves between state circuit court calendars and federal bankruptcy dockets. The result is a practice that combines trial work, document drafting and client advisement on financial as well as domestic issues.
She continues to run All Family Law Group, P.A., practicing family law and related bankruptcy matters.
