About Luke D.

Luke D. Durham earned his law degree from Charleston School of Law in 2012 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and International Business. He moved from a business-oriented undergraduate program into law school in relatively short order, a transition that shaped the way he approaches complex legal problems.

After law school, Durham built a practice that spans trial and appellate work. He holds admission to practice in Tennessee and has court admissions that include the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials reflect a practice that has extended beyond state trial courts and into federal appellate forums.

Durham's professional activities include membership in the American Inns of Court, Hamilton Burnett Chapter, which he joined in 2014. He has been active in community boards since 2012, joining the boards of the Boys and Girls Club and the Knoxville Challenger Tennis Tournament the same year. He also has been a member of the Tennessee Bar Association since 2012. Those roles indicate an interest in professional development and local community institutions.

He practices at Brock | Shipe | Klenk, where he is part of a team that handles a range of legal matters. Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical in court work and direct in written advocacy. He favors clear briefs and concise argument. Outside the courthouse he has remained engaged with local civic and youth organizations, preserving a connection between his legal work and the broader community he serves.

Durham's trajectory — business undergraduate studies followed by law school and early bar and court admissions — has shaped a practice comfortable in both trial and appellate settings. He has maintained long-standing professional memberships and taken on board responsibilities in local organizations. He currently concentrates his practice on litigation and appellate work.
