Luke A Johnson studied geography as an undergraduate before turning to the law. He earned a B.S. in Geography from the University of Kentucky in 2010 and completed his legal studies at the University of Kentucky College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2013. Those years in Lexington shaped his approach to problem solving and introduced him to practice fundamentals he still uses.
After law school, Johnson began practicing in Colorado. He is admitted to practice in that state and built his career there. Early on he worked on a range of matters that exposed him to client-side problem solving, courtroom procedure and transactional work. The variety of work gave him practical perspective on how legal issues play out outside the classroom.
Over time Johnson moved into private practice. He now operates under the name Luke A Johnson PLLC. Running a small practice has required him to handle the substantive law as well as the business of running a firm.
