Ayon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2000. He graduated from Boston University School of Law in 2003. Before founding Southwest Injury Law in 2017, he was a partner at Maier Gutierrez Ayon and an associate at Fox Rothschild, focusing on commercial litigation and contested bankruptcy matters. Throughout his career, Mr. Ayon has represented clients in both state and federal courts in Nevada and Arizona.
He has handled cases involving catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, wrongful death, product liability, and insurance bad faith claims. His experience includes serving as the first law clerk for Presiding Civil Judge Honorable Elizabeth Gonzalez in Las Vegas. In 2023, the Arizona Supreme Court publicly reprimanded Mr. Ayon for misconduct related to a Nevada court case. The reprimand was based on his violation of professional conduct rules concerning communication with clients and fairness to opposing parties.
Mr. Ayon is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the State Bar of Arizona. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2009 to 2015.
