About Lucie
Lucie Gulino completed her undergraduate degree at Colby College in 2017 and earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2021. Her time in law school coincided with an era of rapid change in legal education and practice, and she entered practice soon after graduation.
She began her legal career at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP as an associate in 2021. Joining the firm straight out of law school, she moved into an environment known for handling complex matters across state and federal arenas. At the firm she took on the routine responsibilities of a junior litigation attorney, working alongside senior colleagues on case preparation and client communications.
In day-to-day practice Gulino’s work has involved legal research, drafting motions and memoranda, and preparing filings for court. She has handled factual development, assisted with discovery, and helped assemble documentary records for client matters. Colleagues describe her work as meticulous and grounded in careful analysis of statutes and case law.
Gulino is a current member of the State Bar of Massachusetts and is licensed to practice in that jurisdiction. Her practice is anchored in Massachusetts rules and procedure, and she represents clients whose matters require attention in state courts or administrative forums. She keeps up with developments in local practice and participates in professional activities through the bar association.
Her trajectory is typical of a recent law school graduate who moved directly into private practice. She has balanced courtroom-related deadlines and office-based research. Over time she has taken on increasing responsibilities on case teams and contributed to strategies developed by more senior attorneys at the firm. Outside the office she maintains ties to the legal community through bar involvement and local professional programming.
Now in practice several years, Gulino continues to work at Zalkind Duncan & Bernstein LLP, where she handles matters brought before the firm in Massachusetts. Her current practice concentrates on serving clients through the firm’s Massachusetts-based legal work.
