About Lourdes M.
Lourdes M. Zorrilla built her foundation in Puerto Rico. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and later took her law degree at Universidad de Puerto Rico Escuela de Derecho. Her academic path combined business training and legal study, a pairing that informs how she organizes client matters and firm operations.
After law school, Zorrilla entered private practice in Puerto Rico. Over time she assumed leadership responsibilities and now serves as the managing lawyer at the Law Offices of Zorrilla & Silvestrini, P.A. In that role she oversees casework and the daily administration of the firm. Her position involves supervising other lawyers, coordinating filings, and ensuring clients’ procedural needs are met.
Career milestones include steady growth in private practice and active participation in bar-related organizations. Zorrilla holds membership in the Broward Hispanic Bar Association and the Puerto Rico Bar Association of Florida. Those memberships indicate regular engagement with legal communities spanning Puerto Rico and Florida, and they provide professional connections for cross-jurisdictional matters.
Her practice life has a practical bent. She manages client intake, directs litigation preparation, and handles transactional paperwork when required. She also manages firm logistics: staffing, calendaring, and client communications. Colleagues describe her approach as organized and pragmatic. She balances case strategy with the administrative demands of running a small law firm.
Courtroom appearances and courtroom preparation are part of her routine. Zorrilla prepares pleadings, attends hearings, and meets with clients to review options and next steps. She works with clients on scheduling, document collection, and the tactical decisions that come with resolving disputes or completing transactions. That day-to-day legal work is central to how she practices.
Outside of client work, Zorrilla maintains ties to professional networks in the Hispanic bar community. Those ties feed into referrals and continuing legal education opportunities. She participates in association events and stays connected to legal peers across jurisdictions.
She practices law in Puerto Rico and manages the Law Offices of Zorrilla & Silvestrini, P.A. Her current practice focuses on representing clients through both transactional processes and litigation-related procedures.
