Lori Harshbarger is an attorney based in Twin Bridges, Montana, with over 30 years of legal experience. Licensed to practice law in Montana, Arizona, and Texas, her extensive expertise covers many areas, including family law, estate planning, real estate, agricultural law, civil litigation, personal injury, and water law. Serving as the attorney for the Town of Twin Bridges, Lori plays a vital role in local governance and legal matters. Born in Butte, Montana, Lori graduated from Montana State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. This strong academic foundation paved the way for her legal career. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, in 1993.

Following her graduation, Lori began her legal career in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, where she focused on international transactions, estate planning, business and real estate transactions, and personal injury cases. This diverse experience allowed her to develop a well-rounded skill set that she brings to her practice today. In 1999, Lori made the decision to return to Montana, establishing her practice in Butte before relocating to Twin Bridges. Her firm, Harshbarger Law Firm, offers comprehensive legal services throughout southwest Montana. The firm’s diverse practice includes all areas of family law, mediation and dispute resolution, business transactions, estate planning, real estate, agriculture, civil litigation, select personal injury claims, and water law. This broad scope of services enables Lori to meet the varied legal needs of her clients effectively.

Lori is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Montana Bar Association, Arizona Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. She also participates in the Montana Fifth Judicial District Bar Association and the Silver Bow County Bar Association. As the Chairperson of the Legislative Committee of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Montana, she plays a crucial role in shaping family law policy in the state. Her commitment to the legal profession is evident in her involvement with the Montana Family Law Arbitration Association and Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity. Beyond her legal practice, Lori engages in various community activities, including 4H and FFA, reflecting her appreciation for Montana's agricultural legacy. Married with children and grandchildren, she values family time and community involvement.
