Her early career included a role as an Associate at Wohl & Entwistle from 1993 to 1995, where she gained experience in civil litigation.
She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Westchester County Bar Association, the Westchester Women's Bar Association, and Scribes – The American Society of Legal Writers. She has contributed to the legal community through speaking engagements, such as programs for the Brooklyn and Bronx Women's Bar Associations in 2006, focusing on writing better appellate briefs and utilizing judicial writing guides.
