Lisa M — Angel is a seasoned family law attorney based in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has been practicing law in the state since 1993, focusing on divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and domestic violence cases. As the President and Owner of The Rosen Law Firm, P.A., she has been instrumental in guiding clients through challenging family matters with compassion and expertise. A native of Raleigh, Lisa graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1993.

Her commitment to family law led her to become a North Carolina Board-Certified Specialist in Family Law in 1998, a designation she has maintained since then. Throughout her career, Lisa has been recognized for her contributions to the legal community. In 1997, she was named "Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year" by the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. She was inducted into the YWCA of Greater Triangle Academy of Women in 2003 and appointed by Governor Easley to the North Carolina Domestic Violence Commission in 2002. Additionally, she co-founded Project Together, a Wake County pro bono domestic violence project, and continues to co-chair it.

Lisa has held significant leadership roles in various professional organizations. She served as the past president of the Women’s Center of Wake County Board of Directors and co-chaired the Wake County Family Lawyers. She has also been involved with the Domestic Violence and Technology Committees of the NCBA Family Law Section. Her community involvement extends to being a member of Raleigh’s Environmental Advisory Board (2021-2023) and advising domestic violence programs across the state, such as the UNC Hospitals Domestic Violence Intervention Advisory Board and Legal Services of North Carolina’s Domestic Violence Initiative. In addition to her professional achievements, Lisa has been recognized in the legal community.

She has been selected to Super Lawyers from 2015 to 2026, an honor awarded to a select number of attorneys in each state. She has also been featured in North Carolina Lawyers Weekly as a leader in the law, highlighting her contributions to the field and the community. Lisa's dedication to family law and her community shows her commitment to providing compassionate and expert legal services to those navigating complex family matters in North Carolina.
