Lisa Intrieri Caputo is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992. Her license is currently in active status. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout the San Jose area and the broader Silicon Valley region.

Ms. Caputo earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1992. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at Santa Clara University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Commerce in 1989. During her time at Santa Clara University, she developed a strong foundation in business and law, which has informed her legal practice.

Ms. Caputo concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, tax litigation, corporate law, trusts and estates, and taxation. She represents individuals and businesses in matters involving estate administration, tax disputes, corporate governance, and the formation and management of trusts and estates. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Caputo has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Ferrari Ottoboni Caputo & Wunderling LLP, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Jose for five years.

Ms. Caputo is an active member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Taxation. She is also a certified mediator through the Santa Clara County Superior Court mediation program. Ms. Caputo is fluent in English and Italian, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of the San Jose area effectively.
