About Lindsey
Lindsey Kohls completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2018. She stayed in Madison for law school and received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2020. Her academic path combined business training and legal education, preparing her for work that crosses transactional and regulatory lines.
While in law school, Kohls spent a summer in Washington, D.C., serving as an intern in the Office of White House Counsel in 2019. That role exposed her to government legal work and high-stakes advisory environments. The internship came during a period of intense public attention to the executive branch and offered practical experience in drafting and reviewing legal memoranda under tight deadlines.
After graduating in 2020, Kohls joined Bakke Norman Law Offices, S.C. as a lawyer. She began at the firm the same year she completed law school, moving from an academic and internship setting into day-to-day practice. At Bakke Norman she has handled client matters, participated in case preparation and contributed to courtroom and transactional work as required by the firm’s caseload.
Kohls is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. She maintains current membership in professional legal associations and participates in continuing legal education to keep pace with changes in state and federal law. Colleagues describe her as methodical in her preparation and clear in her written work. Client files handled through her office work reflect attention to detail and an emphasis on organizing factual records to support legal arguments.
Her background — a business degree followed by law school and a White House Counsel internship — shapes how she approaches legal problems. She draws on business judgment when evaluating settlements and on regulatory awareness when advising clients on compliance issues. Her work at Bakke Norman has included courtroom appearances and negotiations, and she splits her time between office preparation and client meetings.
Kohls continues to practice at Bakke Norman Law Offices, S.C., representing clients in the matters handled by that firm. Her current practice centers on the types of civil and transactional work managed through the firm’s office.
