About Lindsey
Lindsey Harris built her legal foundation in Texas. She earned a B.A. in Sociology from Texas A&M University, College Station, in 2008 and went on to receive her J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2011, where she studied international law and legal studies. Those years shaped an early interest in cross-border legal questions and the practical problems people encounter when immigration intersects other areas of law.
Her career in private practice took a decisive turn in 2014 when she founded Shoreline Immigration and served as its managing lawyer. The move into firm leadership gave her experience running a practice while handling client matters. It also put her in the position of guiding case strategy and office operations at the same time, a balancing act that many small-firm attorneys know well.
Harris's background blends immigration and international perspectives. The coursework and clinical opportunities from law school inform how she evaluates problems that involve more than one legal system. She represents clients on immigration-related issues and has handled matters that require attention to procedural detail and an understanding of federal immigration rules.
She maintains membership in professional organizations that reflect her field. Harris is a current member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep her connected to developments in immigration policy and to colleagues who practice in the same areas. She participates in continuing legal education and professional programming to stay current on changes in law and procedure.
Today she practices under The Law Office of Lindsey J. Harris. Her practice serves individuals, families and entities seeking help with immigration matters. The office handles a range of matters that affect people living and working across state and national lines. She continues to combine practical casework with the administrative demands of running a small law office.
She is licensed to practice in Texas and conducts her work from her private practice, handling immigration matters in that jurisdiction.
