About Lindsey

Lindsey Beaty built a foundation in two fields before she turned to law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Houston in 2006, then returned to school and took her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law, completing the degree in 2017. Those years bracket a mix of hands-on public work and legal training.

Her early career took her into juvenile services. In 2005 she worked as a juvenile probation officer in Harris County. That role put her in regular contact with young people and the systems that shape their outcomes. Later, while completing law school, she worked as a community work counselor at the Houston Center for Independent Living in 2014. Those jobs preceded several positions in law offices where she shifted into case work and research.

Lindsey served as a law clerk at Arguello, Hope & Associates and The Nations Law Office in 2015. She moved into case management at Fitts Law Office in 2016, then returned to Arnold & Itkin LLP as a law clerk in 2017. A year later she worked there as an attorney. Those years in private practice offered steady exposure to case preparation, client intake and the logistics of civil litigation. She handled document review, client interviews and coordinated work between investigators and supervising attorneys.

Her background combines public-sector experience with the routines of law firms. The juvenile probation work and community counseling added direct client contact and an emphasis on practical problem solving. In private practice she gained experience managing files, tracking deadlines and supporting trial preparation. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and thorough when it comes to the administrative and factual work that supports a case.

She is licensed to practice in Texas and has spent her career working in the state’s legal community. The sequence of clerkships, case management and a staff attorney role reflects a steady movement from support positions into responsibilities requiring independent judgment. As of 2026 she continues to practice law in Texas, representing clients in litigation and legal counseling.
