About Lindsay G
Lindsay G Gray grew up drawn to language and public life. She earned a B.A. in Communications, Spanish and Religion from Pepperdine University in 2006, then went on to the University of Denver College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2009. Those years shaped a professional path that moves between public defense, private practice and community leadership.
Gray began her legal career in public defense. In 2010 she served as a Deputy State Public Defender in Colorado, handling a steady docket of criminal matters and courtroom work. The experience sharpened her trial skills and gave her a front-row view of how public systems affect individuals and families.
After leaving the public defender’s office, Gray transitioned into private practice. She joined Fischer & Byrne, LLC as an associate in 2012. The following year she launched The Law Practice of Lindsay Gray, LLC, building an independent practice that allowed her to take on a variety of civil and criminal matters. In 2015 she formed Biesenthal & Gray, LLC and also took on a leadership role outside the courtroom as president of the board of directors of the Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project.
Those community efforts reflect a long-standing interest in immigration and immigrant rights, brought together with litigation experience. Gray has worked in both advisory and advocacy roles, representing clients in court and working with community organizations to address legal needs. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Her career shows a pattern of movement between direct representation and organizational leadership. Colleagues and clients have looked to her for straightforward counsel and courtroom presence. Over time, Gray has handled criminal defense matters, civil filings and immigration-related issues, often in settings where the legal question intersects with social services and nonprofit work.
Gray now practices at Whitlock & Gray, LLC. Her work combines litigation and counseling, representing individuals in state and federal matters and collaborating with local groups on access to legal services. Her current practice focuses on criminal defense, civil litigation and immigration-related representation.
