About Linda Marie

Linda Marie Brown practices across Arizona and the Ninth Circuit. She has been a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 2010 and maintains active ties to several local and statewide bar groups. Her career spans courtroom appearances, transactional work, and section leadership within the state bar.

Brown’s legal path has included work at Black Mountain Law Offices, PLLC. She has professional roots in both Scottsdale and Mohave County through her long-standing association memberships. Over time she moved between litigation and transactional matters, building a practice that crosses municipal lines and federal court filings.

Her involvement in bar governance has been substantial. She served as chair of the State Bar of Arizona International Law Section from 2012 to 2018. During that same period she belonged to the State Bar’s World Peace Through Law group and held membership in the Arizona Association for Conflict Resolution from 2007 to 2018. She spent a decade as a member of the Scottsdale Bar Association, from 2012 until 2022. Since 2013 she has been part of the State Bar of Arizona Business Law Section, and she joined the Real Estate Section in 2023. In 2021 she added membership in the Mohave County Bar Association.

Clients and colleagues describe Brown as methodical in her approach to disputes and transactions. Her work ranges from business law and commercial transactions to real estate matters and alternative dispute resolution. She has handled matters that require familiarity with both state regulatory frameworks and federal appellate procedure in the Ninth Circuit. That mixture of practice environments has informed how she counsels clients and prepares cases for court.

Brown’s practice balances courtroom work and negotiated solutions. She takes on litigation when necessary and does transactional drafting and review for businesses and property owners. Her bar leadership and committee work have kept her engaged with evolving rules and practice standards. She remains an active participant in professional sections that relate to business, real estate, international law, and dispute resolution.

As of 2026 she remains a lawyer in Arizona admitted to appear in the Ninth Circuit and continues to practice at Black Mountain Law Offices, PLLC, where she handles business, real estate, and dispute-resolution matters.
