About Linda Kenney
Linda Kenney Baden is an attorney based in New York City, specializing in criminal defense, employment law, and civil rights. She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers School of Law in 1978, where she laid the foundation for her legal career. After earning her law degree, she began her professional journey by clerking for Judge John F. Lynch of the Appellate Division. This experience provided her with invaluable insights into the judicial process, which she later applied during her tenure at the law firm of Meyner and Landis. Following her time in private practice, Baden transitioned to public service as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. During her tenure, she led the Sex Crimes Investigative Unit, handling numerous high-profile cases that often involved complex legal issues, including murder and the death penalty.
Her work in this role not only developed her litigation skills but also deepened her commitment to justice and the protection of victims' rights. Currently, Baden focuses on criminal defense, particularly in cases involving forensic issues, as well as civil rights matters.
