Linda H — Havel is an attorney specializing in personal injury litigation, based in Fishers, Indiana. Her academic journey began at Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1988. This foundation in communication proved invaluable as she pursued her legal education at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where she received her Juris Doctor in 1994. Shortly after passing the Kentucky Bar that same year, Ms. Havel embarked on her legal career with the firm Tilford Dobbins Alexander Buckaway and Black. In 1996, Ms.
Havel made a significant move to Oahu, Hawaii, where she expanded her legal expertise by handling criminal appellate law and employment discrimination cases in federal court. During her time in Hawaii, she dedicated 160 pro bono hours to the Pacific Trial Service Office at Pearl Harbor, which is part of the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG). Her commitment to public service earned her recognition from the Kentucky Bar, highlighting her dedication to justice and advocacy. In 1999, Ms. Havel returned to the mainland, gaining admission to the Indiana State Bar.
