Leslie I. Snyder built her legal foundation across two countries and several disciplines. She earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1987, where she completed an immigration law internship under Lilia Velasquez, Esq. Earlier academic steps included a Master of Arts in Bicultural/Bilingual Studies from Marywood University in 1982 and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1978. She also spent a junior year abroad at the Universidad de Valencia in 1976.
After law school Snyder moved into immigration law and into private practice. In 1991 she opened the Law Offices of Leslie I. Snyder P.A., which has been the base of her legal work since then. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 1987, a professional affiliation she has maintained while practicing in both Florida and the District of Columbia.
Snyder holds Board Certification in Immigration and Nationality Law from The Florida Bar.
