Leonard B. Levine is a criminal defense attorney admitted to practice law in California in 1972. He holds and maintains an active license. Mr. Levine is a founding partner at Levine, Flier and Flier, LLP, a law firm located at 16133 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 1140, Encino, California. He has been practicing law for over five decades, representing clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Levine earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 1971. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Los Angeles, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time at UCLA School of Law, he participated in the Moot Court – Criminal Program, which provided him with a solid foundation in criminal law.
Mr. Levine's practice focuses on criminal defense, handling a wide range of cases including rape, robbery, insurance fraud, white-collar crimes, first-degree murder, and death penalty cases. He has represented clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-trial motions to appeals, and has achieved a high success rate in his cases. Notably, he has a 90% acquittal rate in felony trials and a 98% acquittal rate in cases involving allegations of physical or sexual abuse of children, sexual assault, and rape.
Throughout his career, Mr. Levine has been admitted to practice before several courts, including the California State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
