About Lena
Lena Clark earned her law degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2011 after completing a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice and Pre-Law at George Mason University in 2005. Her academic path combined theory and practice, preparing her for a career in estates and trust work that began well before she sat for the bar.
She began in the field as a paralegal. Early roles at The Margolius Law Office in 2004 and at Jackson & Campbell in 2005 placed her inside estate planning and probate departments. That hands-on start gave her years of document preparation, client intake and estate administration experience before she took on attorney responsibilities.
Clark joined the attorney ranks in 2012 at the firm of Lee F. Holdmann, where she worked on estate and trust matters. She moved to Offit Kurman in 2014 and continued handling estate planning and trust administration. In 2015 she opened the Law Office of Lena A. Clark. The office has since served clients across Maryland while she maintains credentials to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia as well.
Her professional affiliations reflect steady involvement in local and state bar organizations. Clark has been a member of the Maryland State Bar Association since 2012 and the Virginia State Bar since that same year. She joined the District of Columbia Bar in 2013. Locally she is active in the Frederick County Bar Association and the Frederick Estate Planning Council, and she served as a Leadership Academy Fellow in the Maryland State Bar Association from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016 she has also participated on the Maryland State Bar Association’s Judicial Appointments Committee.
Throughout her career she has focused on wills, trusts, estate planning and probate work. Her background as a paralegal and as an associate at two firms informs her approach to client matters. She handles estate documents, trust administration and probate proceedings, and she counsels clients on planning options suited to Maryland, Virginia and D.C. law.
