Leigh Ballenger Sellers is a seasoned family law attorney with over 30 years of experience, practicing in both North and South Carolina. She is the founder of Touchstone Family Law, which has offices located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fort Mill, South Carolina. Her practice primarily focuses on family law and divorce cases, providing comprehensive legal guidance to clients navigating complex family matters. This dedication to her clients has established her as a trusted figure in the legal community. Ms. Sellers earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1990. Following her graduation, she served as a Staff Attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court from 1990 to 1992.

This role allowed her to gain invaluable insights into the judicial system, enhancing her understanding of family law. In 1993, she began her private practice in Columbia, South Carolina, specializing in family law. Her commitment to this field led her to relocate to Charlotte in 1995, where she expanded her practice to include North Carolina, subsequently becoming licensed to practice in both states. Throughout her career, Ms. Sellers has been actively involved in various professional organizations. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and served on the Family Law Council from 2016 to 2020, including a term as co-chair of the Children's Law Section. In South Carolina, she has been a member of the Family Law Section Council of the South Carolina Bar, serving from 2017 to 2023, and she is currently the Chair for the 2025 term.

Her involvement in these organizations shows her commitment to improving family law practices and advocating for the rights of families. Recognized for her expertise in family law, Ms. Sellers is Board Certified by the North Carolina State Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and is a certified mediator.
