About Leah
Leah Martin is the managing attorney at Leah Martin Law, a firm specializing in business and commercial law with offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, Phoenix, Arizona, and Reno, Nevada. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Political Science. In 2002, she earned her Juris Doctor from UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Nevada Law Journal and was recognized as the William S. Boyd Outstanding Graduate.
After law school, Leah began her legal career at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, Nevada's largest law firm at the time, focusing on various business matters. She later joined Bailey Kennedy, gaining experience in complex legal issues. In 2011, she founded Leah Martin Law, bringing years of expertise in business law, including business formation, contract preparation and review, business and commercial litigation, and estate planning. Leah is licensed to practice in Nevada and Arizona and is certified to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, and Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. She has been a grader for the Nevada Bar Exam since 2008 and served as an associate editor of the Nevada Civil Practice Manual from 2004 to 2010. Additionally, she has chaired the Clark County Law Foundation's Community Service Committee since 2007 and has been an arbitrator on the Court Annexed Arbitration Program Panel since 2012. Leah is actively involved in community organizations, including the UNLV Alumni Association, Sigma Kappa Sorority Alumni Association, CARE Complex Board of Directors, Commercial Real Estate Women, National Association of Women Business Owners.
