About Lawrence Price
Lawrence Price Jr. has spent more than three decades in Maryland’s legal community. He blends formal training in taxation and accounting with courtroom and office experience. Colleagues describe a steady, methodical approach to legal problems.
He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1989. Before that he completed a Master of Science in Taxation at the University of Baltimore in 1983. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University, awarded in 1978. The sequence of degrees gave him a technical footing that has informed his legal work ever since.
After law school he joined Norman, Spicer, Moore, Stevenson & Haskins, P.A. as an associate in 1989. That position was his first professional step into firm practice and client representation. He worked on matters suited to his background and gained experience in both transactional and advisory roles during those early years.
In 1996 he opened a private practice under the name Lawrence A. Price, Jr., P.A. The move to a solo and small-firm setting allowed him to take direct responsibility for client relationships and case management. He has maintained that practice in Maryland for many years, serving clients across the region.
He holds active membership in the State Bar of Maryland and has been a member of the Harford County Bar Association since 1989. That local association ties him to the county’s legal community and provides a forum for continuing professional engagement.
His training in taxation and accounting remains a defining element of his work. It informs document review, client counseling and the way he structures legal matters. He applies that background to the practical needs of individuals and businesses who seek legal assistance in Maryland.
He continues to operate his private law office in Maryland, representing clients and advising on legal issues arising from financial and business matters.
