About Laurence I

Laurence I Gendelman trained in two different law schools before launching his practice in Colorado. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2011, studying economics and political science and completing a certificate in leadership. He later attended Suffolk University Law School in 2012 and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Colorado Law School in 2015.

After finishing law school, Gendelman began working in the Colorado legal community. He built practical courtroom experience and handled matters across state venues. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in his preparation. He prefers to present clear options to clients and to keep legal work efficient and direct.

His professional activities include ongoing membership in local and state bar-related associations. He participates in forums and continuing legal education sessions to stay current on developments that affect his clients. Those connections have informed how he manages caseloads and advised clients on procedural matters.

Gendelman’s path reflects a combination of classroom training and hands-on practice. At law school he took part in coursework that emphasized both transactional skills and litigation fundamentals. That training translated into day-to-day practice when he began representing clients in Colorado matters, where he learned to draft pleadings, negotiate settlements, and present arguments in court.

At Gendelman Klimas, he is part of a small team that handles a variety of client needs. His role involves case evaluation, client counseling, and courtroom advocacy when required. He works with other attorneys at the firm to prepare evidence and strategy, and he communicates regularly with clients to set expectations and report developments.

Outside of court filings and hearings, Gendelman spends time on legal research and on preparing written analyses that support client decisions. He emphasizes practical solutions that consider both legal risk and real-world consequences. He also engages with the legal community through professional gatherings and educational programs.

In practice he draws on his undergraduate background in economics and political science when assessing the broader context of disputes. That grounding helps when financial or regulatory issues arise in a case. He remains based in Colorado and continues to build his practice within the state.

He currently practices at Gendelman Klimas, representing clients in Colorado matters.
