About Lauren

Lauren Young combined studies in human behavior and law before she began practicing. She read biological psychology at the University of California, Davis, a program that explores the links between brain, behavior and environment. She then earned her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and moved into practice in California.

Her path from a science-oriented undergraduate degree to a legal education shaped the way she approaches cases. The training at UC Davis exposed her to research methods and evidence-based inquiry. At law school she learned doctrine, litigation technique and client advocacy. Those strands—empirical curiosity and legal training—appear repeatedly in how she manages matters.

Young practices in California. After completing law school she entered the California legal community and began representing individuals and businesses in state matters. She has navigated courtroom procedures, negotiated settlements and drafted pleadings. Her work involves courtroom appearances as well as client counseling on the practical implications of legal choices.

Colleagues describe her style as methodical and direct. She tends to break complex issues into discrete parts. That approach allows clients to see options clearly and to weigh trade-offs. It also helps when cases require marshaling technical evidence or explaining it to judges and juries.

Outside the courtroom she keeps current on changes in state law. Continuing education and routine engagement with local legal networks are part of her practice. She applies both her undergraduate training and her legal education when assessing witness credibility, scientific evidence and procedural strategy.

She practices under the name The Law Office of Lauren Young. The office serves clients across California and handles matters that arise under state law. Her practice blends litigation tasks—motions, hearings, trial preparation—with client-focused counseling on how to proceed at each stage.

Today she maintains an active practice in California through The Law Office of Lauren Young. Her current practice concentrates on matters brought in California courts and administrative forums.
