About Lauren
Lauren Osa practices bankruptcy law across two states. She earned a J.D. from the University of Florida in 2007 after completing a B.A. in political science at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2004. Those credentials set a straightforward path. She went into bankruptcy work early and has stayed there.
Her first recorded position after law school came in 2008, when she joined Clark & Washington, PC as a senior bankruptcy lawyer. She spent those years handling the day-to-day demands of bankruptcy practice and building courtroom experience. In 2012 she moved into a managing role at Cabanillas & Associates, taking on administrative duties alongside casework. That shift marked her transition from senior associate to team leader.
Three years later she opened a practice under her own name. In 2015 she became managing bankruptcy lawyer at Lauren Osa, P.A. That move put her in charge of client intake, firm operations and case strategy. Running a small firm meant balancing client advocacy with the practical tasks of managing staff and deadlines.
Osa is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida. She has been a member of the New York State Bar since 2010. Her career record shows steady progression through roles that combined litigation, client counseling and firm management.
