About Lauren
Lauren Lester graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2015. She completed her legal studies after enrolling in 2011 and left law school ready to begin practice in a different region from where she trained. The law degree sits at the center of a professional path that has been contained within Colorado since she began her legal career.
Early in her career Lester joined the Denver legal community. She has been a member of the Denver Bar since 2015, taking part in the local professional networks that shape practice in the city and the state. Her membership in that organization has connected her to peers and to continuing legal education opportunities that are standard for attorneys working in Colorado.
Her work over the years has involved advising and representing clients on matters governed by Colorado law. She has spent time in courtrooms and conference rooms. She has prepared pleadings, handled client counseling, and engaged in negotiations on behalf of individuals and organizations. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical: she tends to break complex problems into their component parts and address each in turn.
Lester’s training at Georgia State gave her a foundation in doctrinal study and practical skills. During law school she completed coursework and exercises that mirror tasks attorneys face in private practice, including legal research, brief writing, and advocacy skills. Those classroom and clinic experiences translated into early assignments in her post-graduate work and informed how she evaluates cases.
Outside of casework, she has participated in bar-sponsored programs and local legal events intended to refine practice skills and ethics. That participation has kept her current on procedural developments and on best practices for client communication and file management. She approaches professional development as an ongoing activity rather than a one-time requirement.
Peers and opposing counsel note that Lester is prepared and direct in proceedings. She does not court publicity. Instead she focuses on the granular work that moves a file forward—document review, factual investigation, and careful drafting. Those elements make up much of her day-to-day practice.
As of 2026 Lauren Lester practices law in Colorado. She concentrates her practice on matters arising under Colorado law and on serving clients within the state.
