About Lauren
Lauren Jobin earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Southern Methodist University in 2004 and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2008. She finished law school as the economy was shifting, then moved into courtroom and office roles that would shape a steady practice. The combination of an international studies background and formal legal training informs how she approaches complex facts and client questions.
Her earliest legal experience came in public service and support roles. In 2010 she worked as a legal intern at the Bexar County District Lawyer’s Office and the following year served as a law clerk at Capitelli & Wicker. Those positions familiarized her with the rhythms of casework and the demands of trial calendars. In 2012 she worked as a writer for Grossman Law Offices P.C., a role that sharpened research and drafting skills that associates rely on every day.
She moved into associate-level practice in 2013 at The Franklin Law Office, LLP. Four years later she joined Guajardo & Marks, LLP as an associate lawyer, and in 2019 she took a lawyer position at Witherite Law Group. Across those years she handled the day-to-day responsibilities of firm practice: client intake, legal research, motion practice and supporting trial preparation. The progression marks steady advancement through roles that require courtroom readiness and practical case management.
In 2022 she founded Jobin Law, PLLC and took on the role of owner. That step followed nearly a decade of work in private practice and legal support positions. She is admitted to practice in Texas and Louisiana, and she remains active in bar and trial lawyer circles. Jobin serves as a director of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and also holds a director role with the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Those positions keep her engaged with colleagues and current legal developments.
Colleagues describe her as a lawyer who combines courtroom experience and written advocacy. She balances litigation tasks with the administrative work of running a small firm. Her background in international studies occasionally shapes how she frames disputes and assesses evidence, and her years in varying firm roles inform how she manages client expectations.
She continues to run Jobin Law, PLLC and maintains an active practice in Texas and Louisiana, concentrating on trial and litigation matters through her firm.
