About Lauren E.
Lauren E. Kissel completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a B.A. in Environmental Studies in 2015. She went on to Michigan State University College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2018. That academic path combined a grounding in environmental issues with formal legal training.
After law school, Kissel established her practice in Michigan. She is admitted to practice in the state and has built a career that keeps her involved in the legal community beyond the office. Her early years as a young lawyer included volunteer and committee work that broadened her exposure to different aspects of civil practice and courtroom procedure.
Kissel maintains active memberships in a range of professional associations. She belongs to the Ingham County Bar Association and serves on the Executive Board of its Young Lawyers Section, a position that places her among peers shaping programming and outreach for newer attorneys. She is also a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. At the regional level, Kissel serves as Communications Director for the Woman Lawyers Association, Mid-Michigan Region. She is listed as a current member of the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault (CPAN). These memberships reflect an engagement with both local and statewide legal issues and with organizations that concentrate on professional development and policy.
In the office, Kissel is associated with Sinas Dramis Law Office. Her background in environmental studies and her legal training inform her approach to cases and client counseling. Colleagues describe her as methodical; clients note she is thorough in explaining legal steps and options. She has balanced courtroom appearances, client consultations, and bar association activities during her practice.
Outside of her legal work Kissel has remained connected to community and professional networks in Lansing and the surrounding region. She participates in bar-sponsored events and contributes to initiatives aimed at supporting younger lawyers. Her role on executive and communications boards keeps her engaged in shaping local programming and member communication.
She currently practices law at Sinas Dramis Law Office, representing clients in matters arising under Michigan law.
