About Lauren
Lauren Bower entered law school after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology at the University of Missouri. She earned her B.S. in 2015 and continued her legal studies at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2018. Her academic path combined social science and legal training, giving her an analytical bent and familiarity with courtroom procedure.
She began working as an associate attorney immediately after law school. In 2018 she joined Kranitz, Sadoun & Carpenter PC, where she handled day-to-day responsibilities typical for a first-year associate. The role exposed her to client intake, legal research and drafting, and courtroom appearances that helped build her practical skills. Two years later she moved to Ritchie, Soper & Schutt LLC, taking on more complex assignments and adding responsibilities for case management.
In 2021 Bower took the step of opening her own practice, founding Bower Law LLC. As owner she manages both the legal work and the business side of the firm. Running a small firm requires juggling client work, staffing decisions and administrative duties. She has kept the practice rooted in Missouri and continues to handle matters in state venues.
Colleagues describe her as methodical and clear in written work. She approaches each matter by laying out the facts, identifying legal issues and mapping options for clients. Her time at two established firms before launching her own office gave her exposure to different practice styles and client expectations. That variety of experience informs how she prepares cases and communicates with people who hire her.
Outside the office she maintains professional ties in the legal community and participates in bar-related activities. She retains an active presence in Missouri’s legal environment and stays current on changes affecting practice in state courts. Today she heads Bower Law LLC and directs its operations, providing legal services to individuals and businesses in Missouri. Her current practice focuses on serving clients across the state through her firm, Bower Law LLC.
