About Laura

Laura Pope earned her law degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law, completing her J.D. in 2012 after beginning studies in 2009. Her time at Bowen included study of Arkansas statutory and procedural law, and she graduated into a state legal market shaped by both rural practice and growing urban centers. The law school years laid a practical foundation she would draw on in the years that followed.

She is admitted to practice in Arkansas and maintains an active membership in the Arkansas State Bar. That membership places her in a statewide professional network and subjects her work to the continuing education and ethical standards required of Arkansas attorneys. In a profession where rules and precedent matter, she has kept current with bar requirements and the evolving law of the state.

Pope’s career has been centered at Lisle Rutledge, PA, where she serves as a lawyer handling client matters for the firm. Her practice at Lisle Rutledge involves client counseling, preparation of legal documents, and representation in matters arising under Arkansas law. Colleagues describe her as steady in court settings and attentive in client meetings. She has worked on cases and matters that require careful procedural handling and clear communication with clients.

Since receiving her J.D. in 2012 she has built a body of work that reflects steady practice in the Arkansas legal system. Over more than a decade she has navigated filings, hearings, and negotiations on behalf of clients, and she has watched the local legal landscape change. That period of practice has given her institutional familiarity with state courts and local administrative processes.

Outside the office she engages with the professional community through the Arkansas State Bar. Membership in that organization keeps her connected to peers and to updates in practice areas and professional obligations. She participates in programs and trainings that the bar makes available to its members, and she relies on those resources to refine day-to-day approaches to client work.

Pope combines the courtroom experience and office practice that come from years in a state-focused firm. Her approach is practical and procedural, centered on representing clients under Arkansas law and meeting the regulatory and ethical standards of the state bar. She currently practices at Lisle Rutledge, PA, concentrating on matters arising under Arkansas law and serving clients throughout the state.
