LaToya Shontae Redd is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001. Her license is currently in active status. She has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout California, with a primary focus in San Diego County.
Ms. Redd earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2001. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in 1998. During her time at UC Berkeley, she also pursued a minor in Spanish, demonstrating a commitment to a well-rounded education.
Ms. Redd concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate law, civil litigation, business law, and entertainment law. She represents individuals and businesses in matters involving real estate transactions, landlord-tenant disputes, business formation and litigation, and civil appeals. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for several years.
Ms. Redd is an active member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association. She holds membership in the American Bar Association, with active participation in the Sections on Real Property, Business Law, and Litigation. She is also a certified mediator through the San Diego County Superior Court mediation program. Ms. Redd is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
