About Lars Kristian
Lars Kristian Soreide graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law before beginning his legal career in Florida. He earned his law degree and moved into practice in the state where he remains active today. Early on he gained admission to the Florida Bar and to the federal Southern District of Florida court in 2008.
He launched Soreide Law Group, PLLC and serves as its owner. The firm handles matters that arise for individuals and small institutions in disputes involving investments and broker conduct. He built the practice around contested claims and arbitration proceedings. He also appears in federal court when client matters require that forum.
Soreide has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2008. He joined the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association the same year and maintains that membership. He is also a member of the bar for the Southern District of Florida. Those memberships reflect steady participation in professional groups that address securities arbitration and investor protection issues.
Clients come to him for cases that often involve alleged broker misconduct, suitability questions, and contract disputes arising from securities transactions. He represents investors in arbitration proceedings before self-regulatory organizations and in related court filings. His practice emphasizes preparation for hearings and document-intensive discovery, and he regularly engages opposing counsel and arbitrators on procedural and evidentiary matters.
Colleagues describe Soreide as methodical in his preparation. He tends to take cases that require careful factual development and that may proceed through arbitration or into federal court. He balances negotiation efforts with readiness to press claims in hearings when settlement is not possible. He continues to maintain active ties to organizations that monitor developments in investor arbitration.
At Soreide Law Group, PLLC, he handles litigation and arbitration work for private clients in Florida and represents investors before arbitration panels and in court when necessary. He remains an active member of the Florida Bar, the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, and the Southern District of Florida bar. He currently practices representing investors in securities arbitration and related litigation at Soreide Law Group, PLLC.
