Lance L. Lee earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley, completing a B.A. in Economics and Political Science in 1991. He went on to pursue law at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1995 after three years of study. Those years shaped his legal foundation and informed his decision to enter private practice.
After law school, Lee entered the legal workforce in California. In 1998 he worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Donald Cook. That role gave him early experience in managing client matters, drafting pleadings and operating within a small-firm environment. The time as an associate also exposed him to the practical demands of representing clients across different forums.
Two years later he took the step to open his own practice. In 2000 he began operating as a sole practitioner under the name Law Offices of Lance L. Lee.
