About Kyle
Kyle Robbins grew up interested in science and law. He earned a B.S. in Food Chemistry and Microbiology from Oklahoma State University in 2010. Seven years later he completed his J.D. at The University of Texas School of Law. The combination of scientific training and legal education shaped a methodical approach to problem solving.
Before law school he worked in management and sales. He managed operations at Animal Nutrition Technologies in 2010 and later worked as an executive sales agent for Combined Insurance in 2013. Those early roles exposed him to business operations and client-facing responsibilities. He carried that practical experience into law school and legal work.
While at UT Law, Robbins served as a clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas in 2015. That clerkship offered direct exposure to courtroom procedure and case management. After graduating in 2017 he began practicing law, taking an associate position at Hardy, Parrish, Yang, LLP. He moved quickly into roles that combined private practice and advisory work.
In 2017 Robbins launched Robbins Estate Law. He has also worked as of counsel for The Mary Dale Law Office and The Law Offices of Alex Hernandez, Jr., PLLC beginning in 2018. Those positions allowed him to handle a mix of client matters while maintaining his own practice. The work spans drafting estate plans, guiding families through probate, and representing clients in guardianship issues.
Robbins holds a Guardianship Ad Litem Certification from the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of several local bar groups, including the Travis County Bar Association and the Austin Bar Association. He also belongs to the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas and the Williamson County Bar Association. Since 2017 he has been part of the Austin Young Lawyers Association, a network that keeps him engaged with peers and community legal trends.
Colleagues describe Robbins as practical and detail-oriented, preferring clear explanations over legalese. He draws on his scientific background when dealing with technical or administrative aspects of estates. His practice balances transactional work—preparing wills, trusts, and powers of attorney—with courtroom and guardianship responsibilities when disputes or appointments arise.
Robbins maintains his practice through Robbins Estate Law, focusing on estate planning, probate administration, and guardianship matters. His current practice focuses on helping individuals and families plan and manage estate and guardianship issues.
