About Kyle

Kyle Navin earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2016 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History at Trinity College in 2009. He entered law school after several years of study in the liberal arts and social sciences, and left with the credential that would shape his professional life. The arc from Trinity to UConn Law suggests an interest in both policy and practical problem solving.

After graduation, Navin became a member of the State Bar of Connecticut, a status he has held since 2016. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and has built a practice that spans those state lines. Early in his career he navigated the transition from classroom to courtroom and office, taking on the everyday tasks that define a working lawyer: briefs, hearings, client meetings and case preparation.

Navin’s academic background in economics and history informs the way he approaches legal problems. He brings analytical habits learned in economics and a sense of chronology and context drawn from historical study. Those tools are useful whether he is preparing for a hearing or reviewing a complex transaction. Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady; clients encounter an attorney who pays attention to detail and prefers clear explanations over jargon.

His practice covers matters that require knowledge of state procedures and an ability to coordinate work across jurisdictions. That has meant appearances in state courts and filings in administrative settings, depending on client needs. He handles the procedural side of cases, management of discovery, and the drafting of pleadings and agreements. He also assists clients in understanding how state law differences in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts might affect their positions.

Navin works out of the offices of Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen. In that setting he participates in collaborative case work and serves as a point person for clients who need counsel in more than one New England state. He maintains active bar membership and continues to build experience through the practice of law rather than public commentary or academic posts.

He currently practices at Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen, serving clients in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts and handling state and cross-state legal matters.
